Where do I begin!?! First, Dr. Dennett reopened her doors after finishing for the day to take my very sick 7-month-old pup. She proceeded by doing an emergency surgery well past her closing hours just to save my girl. There are no words to say how thankful I am. Five stars are not enough — she’s a 100-stars kind of person! Highly recommend!
Dr. Fitch has been so great with our bunny, Benjamin, who has mysterious abscesses around his leg. She took so much time during our appointments to explain everything. Benjamin was scheduled for surgery, but once he arrived, she realized he only needed a more minor procedure, meaning he didn’t have to go through full anesthesia or a more invasive procedure. All of the staff are super friendly as well. 10/10 recommend!
I wouldn’t trust my boys with any other vet. The sheer amount of love and excitement when they come in tells me all I need to know. Having interacted with both Dr. Fitch and Dr. Dennett, I can confidently say this clinic is run by extremely competent and compassionate people who truly love what they do.
Definitely recommend, especially for rabbit owners, since it can be difficult to find a good rabbit vet in Ottawa!

I love this clinic. First of all, they are so very kind to strays. I was able to adopt a kitty saved by Adopt Me Cat Rescue. Every weekend, Dr. Sherri Dennett offers her goodwill to provide veterinary services for rescued cats with exceptional kindness. I travel a great distance from the Byward Market area to bring my kitties here — it’s well worth the time. Dr. Dennett has a flair for excellence in both thought and practice. I recommend her to ALL.
Dr. Fitch was gentle and patient with my rabbit, Shredder, and very skilled — my rabbit barely reacted when she administered the vaccine. She didn’t rush me and answered all of my questions. She also didn’t try to push any unnecessary treatments, which I really appreciated. The front desk staff were also wonderful and genuinely love animals. They even complimented Shredder after her appointment! The clinic followed up by email the next day to check on her. Outstanding care all around.
Simply the best vets in town! Drs. Dennett and Fitch have over 60 years of combined expertise, and their staff is just as dedicated. Very patient, thorough, and reasonably priced. If vets were in it for the money, they’d be medical doctors or specialists elsewhere. These vets are here because of their love for animals!

Wonderful clinic and staff. Offered end-of-life care to our beloved bird when it was needed, which not many vets do. It was done in a thoughtful, compassionate, empathetic, and respectful way, at a reasonable cost, even though we were not regular patients of this clinic.
