About Us

We have been in Riverside South since July 2007 and our animal hospital has been growing right along with the community. We are proud to serve Riverside South and the surrounding communities for everything pet-related.

When we  opened, we were the first digital veterinary clinic in the province of Ontario. Our rooms and labs are completely computerized and connected. We are very proud to be able to do our  blood work and x-rays in-house, which speeds up the diagnostic process considerably.

Doctors Sherri Dennett and Heather Fitch have over 40 years of veterinary experience between them, including emergency/critical care medicine.  Their philosophy of animal care is a simple one: prevent health issues and control pain through proper nutrition, weight, and regular check-ups.

Our clinic enjoys being part of the Riverside South community. We are happy to provide free pet nail trims at the “Big Give” event. During the school year, we welcome local classes, Brownies and Cub Scouts to come and tour of our clinic, and pet our guinea pigs Helga and Harriot.

Riverside South Animal Hospital is proud to sponsor students from the local high schools and colleges who need work co-op placements. We are very pleased that several of our high school co-op students have gone on to become veterinarians or work in animal related fields.

We are also proud to be associated with the Village Kitten Rescue [link] and Adopt-Me-Cat Rescue [link] by providing medical and surgical services and vaccinations.
